if you've been following along, you'll know i created a piece of art for UICA's Women in the Arts Luncheon back in November. An earlier collaborative piece was created with local writer/poet Toni Bal and has now been actualized.

You rock, Michele! This is so cool. Getting rave reviews from recipients. "I love the trees!" "the dress is so cool. and the colors." "I love the hair." "I love fireflies." "The leaves look like fireflies." "it sounds like you." "oohhh, this is good." And so many questions: "you did this?" "uncurl?" "not unfurl?" "she what?" "it's oak veneer?" "is that water color?"
