UICA's Woman in the Arts Luncheon

 i finished the design and layout for my collaborative piece for UICA.

this particular image is a xerox transferred, hand-colored piece. an edition of 200 will be created in its likeness and given to each of the women in attendance at the luncheon. The image will be produced as a three color silkscreen with black ink outlines, green leaves, and an orange chair cushion. i hope to get the screens prepped tomorrow and be ready to print on friday. Sandra Seaton is the poet for the piece. there will also be an alternative piece created with poet Toni Bal that i will be posting soon as well!

Glad you have been blogging again. Now I can see all the great things you are up to. We all miss you at the museum. We had pumpkin everything for last night's reception ( I think you would have liked my pumpkin cheesecake). Come to DeKalb soon.
