show cards
well, my show cards finally came and the print job is a mess. i was disappointed for about 5 minutes and now i'm over it. besides, i think i'm changing the title of my show now so the card will just serve as the date/place reminder. sweet mother, if everything could go as ideally planned as it is in my head, i'd be set :-)
i spent two days making my graduation announcements and they are pretty sweet. they were unbelievably time consuming, but they make the occasion seem a bit more real and valid. i included my picture from my graduation from the Academy of Early Learning. my features have definitely morphed over the years and i can't even believe this was me.
i've also started posting a few of the images i'll have in my thesis show. they are all drawings of household items and furniture i've purchased through thrifting, ebay, and craigslist over the past year. more to come in the portfolio and statement sections...
